On Sunday, the most-discussed topic among football fans was the Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney lining up in the neutral zone, costing the Chiefs a touchdown and eventually their game against the Buffalo Bills. However, now, the referees failed to call the same penalty on Jaylen Waddle, who lined up in the neutral zone during the week 14 clash between the Miami Dolphins and the Tennessee Titans.

During the 1st quarter of the Dolphins-Titans clash, the Dolphins were trying to put some points on the board and were facing a crucial 1st down and 10 from their 12-yard line. Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa took the snap from under center and handed the ball off to his running back, who managed to gain three yards in that play.

However, in that play, some fans noted the Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle lining up in the neutral zone, but the officials failed to throw the flag on him. So, NFL fans, especially the Chiefs fans, were furious about the refs failing to call the penalty for that play. This incident happened just a day after the Chiefs suffered a brutal 20-17 loss against the Bills, partially due to a penalty called on their wide receiver.

Following the game, many Chiefs players, including the star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, complained about the referee’s call during the crucial moment. Especially, Mahomes was so furious he started to scream at the refs and had to be held back by his teammates.

As for Waddle, the refs might’ve given a pass to the Miami wideout, since it was just the first quarter of the clash. In the end, the non-call didn’t make much of a difference since the Dolphins went on to suffer a brutal 28-27 loss against the struggling Titans on MNF.

Fans on social media, especially, the Chiefs fans were pi**ed off after the officials failed to call a penalty on Jaylen Waddle, who lined up in the neutral zone during the Dolphins-Titans clash on MNF. Fans started conspiring that the refs were working against the Chiefs.

Nevertheless, the Dolphins suffered an upset loss on Monday and lost possession of the No.1 seed in the AFC playoffs picture. Next, they are scheduled to take on the struggling New York Jets in their week 15 clash. The Dolphins would look to better their shot at the No.1 seed by securing a victory against their division rivals this Sunday.
