To improve one’s odds of achieving greatness, one should hang around greatness. And Jayson Tatum understands that quite well. Tatum, the most popular athlete in Boston right now, was spotted with Tom Brady and Aaron Judge in New York City at an event in collaboration with Make-A-Wish and Fanatics.
Aaron Judge is a legend in New York City, Tom Brady is a legend throughout the nation, and Tatum, along with the stars, came together to make the day of nine children by spending time with them and conducting fun activities like running drills and signing memorabilia.
The side benefit for Jayson Tatum was that he got to pick the brains of Tom Brady. The forward for the Celtics has never shied away from admitting that he is a fan of TB12 and admires his mentality as an athlete.
I know him pretty well. I met him when he was still with the Patriots. Tom is the best. he has every reason to be arrogant but truly down to earth. He texts me from time-to time. He watches the games. He's just a really, really great guy.Tatum said regarding his relationship with Brady.
"He has every reason to be arrogant and all those things, but he's truly down to earth."

Despite Brady leaving New England just two years after Tatum was drafted by the Celtics, the two have managed to develop a friendly relationship with one another.
Jayson Tatum aspires to be on the same level of greatness as Tom Brady is someday
Tatum enjoyed giving back and making the day for young children. The forward stated:
It was great being around the kids who obviously were facing challenges in life but fighting to overcome those to be with their friends and families and brothers and sisters.
With the Celtics’ NBA season set to commence against the New York Knicks, Tatum and the team will look to avenge their Eastern Conference Finals exit to the Miami Heat last year. The forward for the Celtics dreams of watching banner number 18 be unfurled in front of his eyes at TD Garden and will look to turn that into reality this season.
