The New York Jets finally have something to cheer for. After the miraculous win against the Philadelphia Eagles, everyone seems to be in a mood for celebration. No one expected that the Jets, who were limping and struggling, would be able to win against the mighty Eagles. Who, interestingly, did not lose a single game until the match against the Jets.

Speaking after the match, Jermaine Johnson, the cornerback of the team, highlighted that the Jets had to fight against all the odds as all of them were downplaying the Jets despite being not-so-bad in the league. He hinted that the Jets lost a few close games where things could go in any way. However, the Jets were not lucky enough to seal the games.

He said, “That’s the beautiful thing about this team. We just don’t care. We gotta go and play our best bowler and we know that. Obviously, we had an adverse start at the beginning of the season and the way this team has bounced back, the way this team has hit the ground is big. This is a huge win, but we do not care about others. We do not care about the outside noise.”

Later, the player also spoke about the hurdles that the team had to go through. The players had to force their ears out of the negative campaigning that was going on against the Jets.

Like I said, The team has been up against all the negative things. We had to force it out of our ears throughout the way. The best way to come back is the results. So…” the player further added.

Robert Saleh made a huge statement after the game

The Jets head coach, Robert Saleh, made a high statement after the Jets achieved the win. Attending the press, the HC said that his defense made star quarterbacks embarrassed.

Addressing the press, the HC said, “Our defense, per the usual, outstanding. Through these first six weeks, we’ve played a gauntlet of quarterbacks. I know we haven’t gotten all the wins, but we’ve embarrassed all of them. Just really, really proud of the defense and its resolve.”

That’s not all; as per Robert Saleh himself, Brick and his staff had some excellent game plans. “I thought our d-line was good in terms of keeping him in the pocket — he’ a handful, Hurts, their o-line, their receivers, but our guys battled all the way through,” he further added.
