Shedeur Sanders has already created a cult amongst football fans with his viral ‘watch-flexing’ celebration. The celebration has now gone beyond the world of college football and has stepped into the arena of professional football. After the miraculous win over the Philadelphia Eagles, the New York Jets players Breece Hall and Michael Carter celebrated in Shedeur Sanders’ way. They posted a video sharing a glimpse of that celebration. 

In that short video, both of them were spotted pointing at their wrists and acting like they were wearing wristwatches. The celebration quickly gained momentum on Twitter as fans cheerfully greeted them. The Jets fans were in a mood of celebration as their favorite team finally showed some perseverance to get back on track as they back-to-back won two games.

The victory over the Eagles was unexpected as the latter was unbeaten in the league till the match against the Jets. But the Jets broke the record by beating them. It was really a night worth celebrating.

The history of the ‘flexing wristwatch’ celebration goes back to college football where Shedeur Sanders, after the match against Arizona State, celebrated in that fashion. It was a close encounter and the Colorado Buffaloes registered the victory in the dying seconds of the game.

Shedeur was celebrated in style and since then, the celebration has become viral. It attracted a lot of opinions from the people around the NFL world. Deion Sanders, the head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes, and his father, said that Sanders deserved a luxurious watch deal as the celebration went viral. It is to be seen whether he finally ends up having a watch deal.

After the abysmal start in this league, the New York Jets have finally got something to celebrate. The team won back-to-back games and kept the hopes for the playoffs alive. The game vs. the Eagles was a low-scoring encounter where they sealed the victory by 20-14.

The victory will give some more oxygen to the team ahead of the coming encounters.
