New York Jets’ Sauce Gardner found himself in the limelight over a comment that appeared to be anti-Semitic to Jewish people on a livestream last weekend. The controversy extended to such a stretch that the cornerback had to clear his stance, still; it didn’t help the situation.
Gardner recently made an appearance on the live stream of popular streamer Adin Ross, who comes from the Jewish faith. They were having a fun conversation about how it’s easier for Ross to get a Tesla Cybertruck from a fellow Jewish man, and Gardner added, “ya’ll run the world.”

The Jets’ cornerback received a boatload of criticism from fans on social media, after which he also tried to defend himself saying, it “was meant to be a good thing.” However, he deleted the post and shared another way, with a proper explanation.
I love all people. While my intentions were positive, I just learned that people use those exact words I shared for hate towards Jewish people. That is not what I am about and I appreciate those who took the time to educate me on that fact.Gardner wrote on X
Even Ross came forward to defend the cornerback on X, saying it wasn’t a conversation about anything politically wrong. It was a general conversation and as a Jewish, he knows Gardner “did and said nothing wrong.” He argued that Gardner’s comment on Jewish was in a good sense.
