Jimmy Johnson is no stranger to the AT&T Stadium. The veteran had left the fans in tears of joy in the early 90s when the Cowboys, under his leadership, won two Super Bowls in four years. Though his spell did not last long, it was enough to make fans nostalgic. From growing up kids in the 90s to adults who are now veterans, all seem to hold great passion for the former head coach of America’s team.

Years later, the veteran HC returned to the AT&T Stadium ahead of the game between the Detroit Lions and the Dallas Cowboys as the new Ring of Honor inductee. The Cowboys facilitated the legendary coach for his contribution to the team. It was a rare moment for the former Dallas Cowboys HC, and he welcomed the honor. Luck favored the Cowboys against the Lions

On Johnson’s honor ring enshrinement day, the Cowboys did not disappoint him. They ensured a hard-fought and last-minute winner against the Lions, taking their home record to a stellar 8-0. On the other hand, it was a disappointing night for the Lions who were overturned seconds before the game ended.

The game was a roller-coaster ride for both teams. The pendulum swung between two in each quarter.

In the fourth quarter, the Cowboys were in a comfortable position when the Lions took charge. They scored a touchdown and went for a two-point drive. In astonishment, they even scored and started celebrating with less than 23 seconds to go. Little did the team had idea that their drive would be overturned by the referees.
