The New York Jets season is already over with 1 game remaining in the regular season. They have been eliminated from the postseason contention with an ugly 6-10 record. But their quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, still finds a way to make headlines. This time it is over his beef with Jimmy Kimmel regarding the controversial Jeffrey Epstein list, which is set to be made public this week.
During a recent episode of ESPN’s The Pat McAfee Show, the 40-year-old quarterback insinuated that Kimmel might be one of the names on the Epstein list. The ABC network’s late-night show Kimmel did not take the subtle allegations lightly. He denied the accusations completely and called the Jets QB a ‘soft-brained wacko’.
Dear Aasshole: for the record, I’ve not met, flown with, visited, or had any contact whatsoever with Epstein, nor will you find my name on any “list” other than the clearly-phony nonsense that soft-brained wackos like yourself can’t seem to distinguish from reality.Kimmel wrote on X
Furthermore, the 56-year-old also threatened to sue Rodgers if he kept spreading lies that could put him and his family in danger on top of ruining his reputation.
Your reckless words put my family in danger. Keep it up and we will debate the facts further in court.Kimmel wrote
It is a known fact that Aaron Rodgers and Jimmy Kimmel have been beefing for a while now. Previously, Kimmel slammed Rodgers on his show over the Jets veteran’s anti-vaccine stance during the coronavirus pandemic. And now, Rodgers is giving it back.
What did Aaron Rodgers say about Jimmy Kimmel?
The 4-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers joined The Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday for his weekly appearance. During the episode, Rodgers made a joke that insinuated Jimmy Kimmel might have made some trips to the disturbing island of Jeffrey Epstein, who is accused of running a s*x trafficking ring.
Rodgers said he is waiting for the Epstein list to be made public and claimed that some people, including Kimmel, might be hoping that the list never comes out. He also said that he would celebrate by popping a bottle once the list comes out.
Just a couple of days ago, Rodgers’ best friend David Bakhtiari also went after Kimmel by posting an image that seemingly exposed Kimmel as one of the visitors of Epstein’s Caribbean island. But, later he deleted the post after finding out the image was altered to add Kimmel’s name.
Nonetheless, despite some theories and Bakhtiari’s altered image, there’s no solid proof that Kimmel was ever on the s*x trafficking island.
