Quarterback Joe Burrow does not lose hope easily. Instead, he tries to infuse hope and strength among his teammates. After the disaster against the Cleveland Browns, Burrow faced the media and explained the loss. He clearly denied that this loss against the Browns would affect the Bengals this season. Instead, he insisted that this was just week one, and there was still plenty of time before the regular season ended.
Burrow remains confident about bouncing back. “Nobody is panicking in here, guys,” Burrow said while attending the press. “Week One doesn’t define anybody’s season. Obviously, not very good out there.” Joe Burrow asserted that the team will bounce back in the coming weeks. Despite the loss, Burrow remained calm and confident.
Burrow also shed light on a lot of other things. He had a calf strain nearly two months ago. The game against the Browns was his first active performance after the injury. The player emphasized the importance of having good practice in the coming time. He said that through good practice, the team would get over the disaster that they suffered on matchday one. The 26-year-old athlete is hoping to register a win on the coming Sunday.
The Bengals tend to come back from behind. Last season, they went 0-2 down at the start of the season. However, they came back strongly and registered back-to-back 12 wins in the tournament. Their season in 2021 also echoed the same as the team struggled with a 7-6 record and did not have any playoff hopes. However, the team had a fantastic display, beat the Kansas City Chiefs, and marched on to the playoffs, and went to the Super Bowl.

Joe Burrow’s performance against the Browns
QB Joe Burrow had a horrible performance against the Browns. Bengals could not overcome the Browns in the first week of the season. Burrow finished the game by completing only 14 out of 31 passes for 82 years. He had zero touchdowns and a passer rating of 52.2.
This offseason, Burrow signed a huge deal with the Bengals. The $275 million deal made him the most expensive QB in the NFL. After his horrible performance against the Browns, fans have started to troll Burrow on social media. People started questioning the staggering deal he signed.
However, Burrow believed that he would make a staunch comeback. He was out of practice for some days, and according to him, these things are common for QBs in situations like this. The Bengals will need Joe Burrow in top condition to make another deep playoff run.
