The Green Bay Packers, led by their starting quarterback Jordan Love, went against their NFC North division rivals Detroit Lions in their week 4 matchup on Thursday Night. Love and the Packers suffered a humiliating loss against the Lions despite playing at their home ground at Lambeau Field. Aaron Rodgers‘ replacement Love had an abysmal outing against the Lions, which led some fans to clown him on social media.
Love, who replaced Aaron Rodgers as the starting quarterback of the Packers in this season, threw multiple interceptions in Green Bay’s humiliating loss against the Detroit-based football team. The first interception came during the second quarter of the game when the Packers were trailing by 14 points.
Love’s second interception came in the final quarter of the game near the endzone when the Packers were facing a crucial 2nd and 5. Both interceptions were made by the Detroit defensive back Jerry Jacobs. The Packers were always trailing in the game and Jordan Love’s two interceptions diminished any chances Green Bay had in the game.
Furthermore, it’s not just about the interceptions but Love and the entire Packers offense looked awful against their division opponents. At one point in the second quarter, the Packers only had 1 total yard of offense compared to the Lions’ 199 total yards. The Packers also had to abandon their ground game since they were trailing for almost the entire game. As a result, the Lions outrushed the Packers by nearly 200 yards. Love and the Packers only registered 27 rushing yards in the game while the Lions had 211 yards.
In the end, the Packers suffered a humiliating 34-20 loss against Detroit in primetime football. Love had one of the worst performances of his career so far as he only registered 246 passing yards while throwing multiple interceptions. The 24-year-old quarterback had an abysmal quarterback rating of 7.0 in the game, the lowest QBR in the ongoing season so far.

NFL fans on social media brutally mocked the Packers quarterback Jordan Love for his horrific performance against the Lions on Thursday Night Football. Love had one of the worst performances by a quarterback in this season, which led to him receiving the lowest QBR of the 2023 NFL season so far by any signal-caller. Nonetheless, Love and the Packers fell to 2-2 after their tough loss against the Lions. Now they will look to bounce back with a victory against the Las Vegas Raiders, who they are scheduled to face next in their week 5 matchup.
