The Green Bay Packers are expected to take a backseat in the NFC North division in the upcoming NFL season. They lost their franchise QB Aaron Rodgers in the off-season and are expected to rebuild their team around the former first-round draft pick Jordan Love. The young QB spent the last three years learning from Rodgers and is now ready to lead the Packers.
However, recently the young quarterback’s side-arm throw, which should’ve resulted in a sack, has led to fans bashing him on social media. In a video shared by the Packers reporter J.J. Lahey, on social media platform X, Love could be seen running away from the pocket and throwing the ball between two defenders, who gave up on the play since they are not allowed to be rough on the QBs during practice sessions.
Love’s throw between two defenders looked sick in the short video but that play would’ve ended on a sack in a real game. The short video went viral on social media accumulating more than 400k views and received mostly negative reactions.
Love and the Packers started their training camp a few days ago. So far, Love has received big compliments from a lot of people including the Packers head coach Matt LaFleur and the former Packers QB Aaron Rodgers. However, the last few days have been quite the opposite of the initial reactions.
According to multiple reports, Jordan Love has had average outings in the Packers’ training camp. In fact, CBS reporter Adam Schein sounded off on Love after practice camp as he said that Love cannot play football and the Green Bay-based franchise is headed towards a disaster season with him as their starting QB.

Love has not been playing like a franchise signal-caller in the practice camp according to multiple reports. But it could change and many believe that the 24-year-old quarterback has the potential to become a leader of the Green Bay-based football team.
Love spent the last three years learning from one of the masters of the game, Aaron Rodgers. There are not much expectations on the Packers this season but Love has so much pressure as he’s looking to fill the boots of the 10-time Pro Bowl QB.
