After the Green Bay Packers beat the Dallas Cowboys in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs, one thing was crystal clear. Jordan Love has emerged as a worthy successor to Aaron Rodgers and is continuing the legacy of successful QBs such as Brett Favre who have preceded him.
Love ended the game with a little over 270 yards and 3 touchdowns with no turnovers, he showed up to the playoff game and left AT&T Stadium with a victory and $500,000 richer. The QB’s contract had an incentive that would earn him half a million if he led the team to a victory in the Wild Card round.

In the final seconds of the fourth quarter, as the Packers were getting ready to take the knee, Jordan Love was mic’d up as his team was getting into position for the final play. During this time, he gave a customary “Here we go, hut” command signaling the team to get ready. While this is nothing new for the Packers offense, it was the first time fans had heard what Love sounded like when he was out there.
I hope that was shit talk. That’s boss shit.

Jordan Love essentially rapped the final command of the game and fans loved that the quarterback sounded authoritative behind the offensive line. His voice expressed confidence, in himself and his team. There was no doubt whatsoever in his voice nor was it a low tone as would be the case with most first-year starters in the NFL.
Jordan Love proved all of his doubters wrong with his performance against the Dallas Cowboys
The quarterback’s fanbase grew immensely after his performance against the Cowboys. Once his mic ‘d-up footage came out, he gained more fans. He trolled the Cowboys with this command because this led the defense to believe that the Packers were going to run a play rather than take the knee.

For a second, he had the Cowboys’ defense second-guessing if the Packers were going to take a knee or instead end up running a play. Were they going to pull a Saints’ on them and attempt a play despite being in the lead? Jordan Love had them tricked really good.
Here’s what the buzz was about the quarterback on X (formerly known as Twitter):

Fans in Green Bay can stay rest assured that they have found their team’s franchise quarterback for the next decade. It really has to be studied how the Packers continue to keep developing their QBs into top-tier players.
