Patrick Mahomes is not only one of the best quarterbacks of his time but one of the best in the history of the league. This is his 7th year, and he has taken his team to three Super Bowls and has achieved two wins out of those three. Prior to him, the NFL was all about the New England Patriots. Since his arrival, the Patriots lost their dominance, and the Chiefs established theirs. The ability of this QB is unquestionable.
However, according to a QB expert believes that there are some prospects in college football who are better than Mahomes. Among them, Caleb Williams is one. Caleb presently plays for the USC Trojans. His astonishing performance has shocked everyone and the current director of quarterback development for the XFL, Jordan Palmer, believes that he is better than Mahomes.
In his recent interaction with Fox Sports, the expert said, “I said it then, and I’ve never said it about anyone else: That’s the best kid I’ve ever seen. I know when I say those things out loud it can carry some weight, so I don’t throw that around a lot. I’m not the over-hyper.”
He did not stop there as he went on comparing both Mahomes and Caleb and said, “Talent and ability, yeah, he’s on a faster trajectory toward that than Patrick was. Because Patrick was at Texas Tech having to score 45 points just to come close to winning a game. [The team] not playing any defense, not playing any big, relevant games. I’m one of the few people who watched all of Patrick Mahomes’ college games and went to a couple. Nobody else was. Nobody knew who he was.”

Caleb Williams’ performance this season so far
Caleb Williams has been too good this season in college football. In six games, the QB has covered 1,822 yards of passing and registered 22 touchdowns. He was only intercepted a single time this season so far. Last year, the player won the Heisman trophy.
Caleb Williams is seeking to win trophies for his team so that he can be drafted into the NFL. If he finally gets drafted in NFL, then the competition between him and Mahomes is expected to be mouthwatering.
