The Buffalo Bills’ Pro Bowl defensive back Jordan Poyer resumes work to keep his celebrity charity golf event at the former United States President Donald Trump’s course despite the major backlash. Poyer had to cancel his event after his previous sponsor pulled out of the fundraising event due to backlash because of Trump’s affiliation.

According to multiple reports, the Bills‘ defensive back has found a new sponsor for his event. Poyer will keep his celebrity golf match at Donald Trump’s Doral Course outside Miami, Florida. PublicSQ, the “America’s marketplace”, will be joining hands with Poyer as the new sponsor for the fundraiser.

“PublicSQ is proud to partner with Jordan Poyer. We’re glad to see he’s standing against the cancel-culture mob that tried to shut down this charity event and we will always support freedom-loving Americans like Jordan whenever there is an opportunity to do so.” Michael Seifert, founder, and CEO of PublicSQ, told The Post in a statement.

Just a few days ago, Jordan Poyer announced on a lengthy Instagram video that his charity golf event was canceled due to the massive public outrage. “The event was canceled due to the arrogance of others,” Poyer’s wife Rachel Bush said in a Tweet.

Despite the outrage from some people, Poyer received some support from others, including his quarterback Josh Allen. Nonetheless, Poyer confirmed on Friday that he has found a new sponsor, and the celebrity golf event will take place on July 10 at Donald Trump’s Doral Course just outside Miami.

The Buffalo Bills kept one of their key defensive players tied to their franchise as defensive back. Jordan Poyer re-signed with them on a 2-year deal worth approximately $10 million in the 2023 off-season.

The All-Pro defensive back Poyer has been a great force in the Bills’ defensive backfield. In 2022, he registered 4 interceptions and 63 total tackles which led to him receiving a Pro Bowl nod.

The 31-year-old defensive back explored his options in the off-season as a free agent before re-signing with the Bills. He will be a part the Buffalo-based football for the next two years and will try to help his franchise win a Super Bowl ring in the near future.

Under the leadership of Josh Allen, the Bills have been contending for the Super Bowl in the last few years. They would now look to win the first-ever ring in their franchise’s history in the upcoming season.
