The Florida State Seminoles are having a dream time in college football. They won all of their eleven games and their latest came against the North Alabama Lions. The Seminoles beat the Lions by a stellar margin of 58-13. The margin reflects the domination that Seminole had and that too without their regular QB Jordan Travis, who suffered a brutal blow to his left leg mid-game.
During the first quarter, Travis suffered an air cast on his left leg while making a run to the Alabama defense. He was soon carted off by the team’s medical staff and ended up being in the hospital.
Despite getting admitted to the hospital, Travis did not forget his leadership responsibilities. He wished Florida State freshman Brock Glenn to have his first touchdown in his college football career. Travis uploaded a video on his Instagram account that depicted the rushing moment of the FSU freshman. He shared it with a caption, “Hell yeah @b1glenn congratulations brother.”
The game marked a sheer domination by the FSU players. After suffering a 13-0 lead by the North Alabama players, FSU did not lose hope and started showing their colors on the field.
They were magisterial even Jordan Travis got himself hurt. Backup quarterback Tate Rodemaker came into the business and finished his part by covering 217 yards with two TDs. In addition to this, the backup quarterback also completed 13 of his 23 passes. After coming to the field, Glenn had three completions for 35 yards. With all these heroics, FSU moved on to their blowout 11-0 record.
What is Jordan Travis’ injury update?
During the first quarter of the game, Jordan Travis was seen making a run through the middle of the middle after a snap. He was on a 17-yard run when he was tackled from behind. His leg awkwardly bent and he landed on his left ankle. It seemed that he had broken his leg. If the indications are correct, then he might miss the rest of the season.
Jordan is so important to this team, not just as the quarterback but just who he is and what he stands for. So when you see a player get hurt and not really knowing what that's going to be, it was emotional for everybody.HC Mike Norvell
There is no present update on Travis’ injury. The team has not shared anything with the press. It will take some time to get his present condition update. If he becomes unable to play in the rest of the games, then it will make way for backup QB Rodemaker.
