Jordan Travis is currently one of the top quarterbacks in college football. He is projected to become one of the most interesting prospects in next year’s NFL draft. Amidst this, the quarterback of the Florida State Seminoles suffered a brutal injury during their game against the North Alabama Lions.
On Saturday, the No.4 ranked Seminoles went against North Alabama in an exciting matchup. During the game, Travis suffered a rough leg injury early in the first quarter, which kept him out for the entire night.

During the first quarter, Travis and the Seminoles were getting surprisingly outplayed by the Lions and were trailing by 13 points. As the Seminoles’ offense took the field for the third time in the night, Travis used his legs to successfully convert a 1st down. But, towards the end of his 17-yard run, he was tackled down awkwardly by North Alabama’s defenders.
Following the awkward tackle, Travis immediately fell down to the ground and started calling for the medical personnel. Travis was in visible pain as he held his knee while medical staff rushed to the field to check on him. After several minutes, he was taken off the field in a cart and was transported to an ambulance as both team players came to midfield to comfort the Florida State quarterback.
Fans started to chant the quarterback’s name, and he showed appreciation to them. After he was taken out of the game, FSU’s second-stringer Tate Rodemaker entered the game and had a great outing, when the team’s unranked status was in jeopardy.
In the end, FSU ended up trashing the North Alabama Lions 58-13 to remain undefeated in the ongoing college football season. No official diagnosis has been released about Travis’ injury yet.
Saints QB Jameis Winston sends a message to Jordan Travis following injury
On Saturday, the New Orleans Saints quarterback Jameis Winston pulled up to the Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee, Florida to root for his alma mater, Florida State Seminoles, in their game against North Alabama.

However, Winston had to see FSU’s star Jordan Travis leave the game early in an ambulance because of a leg injury. Following the injury, Winston shared a message to the star quarterback.
Just want to encourage him to stay resilient and continue to persevere. I think he's the epitome of that with his journey, his college football career. He was having one of the best years ever in college football and I'm grateful to be rocking his jersey.Winston said on the game broadcast on CW Sports.
Nonetheless, FSU continues its dominance in the ongoing season and is in a good spot to secure a college football playoff spot. If they win out their remaining games, there’s a huge chance they could make it to the postseason and eventually the National Championship game.
