The battle between the quarterbacks in the NFL is what makes the game as exciting to watch. Heading into this season, teams have great quarterbacks across the board. The NFL does not have just one QB as its face, with stars like Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Aaron Rodgers, Jalen Hurts, and Justin Herbert, they make the game entertaining for fans.
However, while their competitiveness is evident on the football field, there is a sense of camaraderie and mutual respect that exists between them when they are not going head-to-head against one another. Josh Allen, the quarterback for the Buffalo Bills showed fans that despite having Aaron Rodgers as his newest rival in the AFC East, he still has love for him.

Josh Allen spoke to Kay Adams and was asked how he manages to be friends with the “enemy”? Well, Allen had a rather candid response to this, the quarterback stated, “He wasn’t the enemy when I first became friends with him.” That was probably because he was in a different conference Josh, now both of y’all are pitted right against one another. The friendship aspect of their bond may take a backseat from now on.

Josh Allen calls Aaron Rodgers a pretty straightforward guy

The quarterback goes on to add, “I love Aaron though. He’s so awesome. He’s taken me kind of, I wouldn’t say under his wing but off the field just having conversations with him, we’ve golfed a few times together and I really enjoy being around him.” Josh Allen has built a bond with Aaron Rodgers and he has even played golf with him on multiple occasions. A young QB like Allen always gets to learn a lot by hanging out with an experienced guy like Rodgers.
The quarterback goes on to conclude, “I don’t know why he likes me as much as he does, I feel like he is a very straight-lined guy, he either likes or he does not. I’m not sure what I did to get on that right side but I’m glad I did.”
Josh Allen believes he and Aaron Rodgers share a great bond, he describes the QB as an individual who does not necessarily bond well with everyone and keeps his circle rather selective. Lucky for Allen, he happens to be within his circle! The duo will face off against one another this season and they will keep their friendship aside when they step onto the field to battle.
