Josh Allen is undeniably one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL right now. But he had a rough time out in the field during the Buffalo Bills‘ loss to the Mac Jones-led New England Patriots in their week 7 matchup on Sunday. The two division rivals went against each other in what was expected to be a blowout victory for the Bills.

However, the game quickly turned out to be a nightmare for the Bills fan as the Patriots took early 10-0 in the first quarter and stunned the Buffalo-based football team. Allen threw an interception and could not find his number 1 target Stefon Diggs, who just registered 6 receiving yards in the first half.

The Bills tried to make a comeback in the second half and even took a lead in the 4th quarter of the game. But Mac Jones and the New England-based football team had a remarkable fourth quarter and managed to score what would be a game-winning touchdown with just 12 seconds left in the clock.

The Bills could not erase the 4-point deficit in the final 12 seconds and suffered a 29-25 loss on Sunday. Allen didn’t have a good day on the field and registered 265 passing yards and 2 touchdowns while throwing 1 interception.

On the other hand, the Pats QB Mac Jones — who has been benched in two games this season so far — had a solid game as completed 83.3% of his passes for 272 yards and 2 touchdowns with 0 interceptions.

With the loss, the Bills fell to a 4-3 record and find themselves in trouble early in the season. If Allen is unable to control his turnovers in the upcoming games, Buffalo could face more upsets in the coming weeks.
