Being a star quarterback is one of the hardest jobs in football. Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is one such individual, whom most in the NFL would agree is one of the top quarterbacks in the league currently. But what does a player like Allen do to keep himself in check while battling through tough times? Kay Adams decodes that cipher.
“You have the wait of a franchise and its fans and this Super Bowl thing lingering over your head that you want to reach. How are you handling all of that?,” Adams asked Allen during the latest segment of the Up and Adams show.
“The most important thing is still being myself,” he replied. “I love the game of football so much and love training camp, baking bread, and hanging out in the dorm watching stuff on TV.” The two-time Pro Bowler revealed that he loves to have fun with his teammates, and the coaching staff can attest to that.
“I absolutely love playing football, and I have so much fun doing it. You can see me constantly joking around and doing stuff I probably shouldn’t be doing. My coaches can attest to that,” he revealed.
Josh Allen added that he loved Brett Favre‘s pitchside enthusiasm. ” You gotta continue to find ways to make it fun. Watching some of what Brett Favre did in the past, he always tried to find something new to keep him entertained during practice. You know, it has been six years that I have been in the same system.” Favre might be have gotten some dirt on his name due to his recent scandals, but his on-field plays are continuing to inspire the current batch of football players in multiple ways.

Josh Allen shows admiration for rival Aaron Rodgers
Aaron Rodgers and Josh Allen may be rivals when they face each other on the football field, but not off it. Allen in particular only had praise to speak when Kay Adams asked, “How could you be friends with the enemy?”
“I love Aaron. He’s so awesome,” replied the All-Pro quarterback. “He wasn’t the enemy when I first became friends with him. I really enjoy being around him off the field.”
When the former Wyoming player first entered the NFL draft back in 2017, Aaron Rodgers was already in his 14th year as a professional. Despite the massive age difference, they have become close friends with each other.
Recently, they both participated in the American Century Championship, which Steph Curry won. However, the two will come face-to-face on Matchday 1 when the Buffalo Bills play the New York Jets on September 12.
