Emmanuel Sanders was a quality receiver in the NFL who had an illustrious career. The former WR retired last season after his short stint with the Buffalo Bills. Since then, he’s been enjoying his retirement. The former Buffalo Bills WR was recently spotted at Wimbledon 2023. Wimbledon is one of the biggest sporting events in the country. Many influential people visit to watch the Tennis game, and this year it was no different.

Sanders was present during the game and gave an interesting comment regarding the prestige of Wimbledon. The former WR believes Wimbledon is the ‘Super Bowl of Tennis’ as it’s the biggest Tennis event of the entire year.

“It’s like the Super Bowl of Tennis, it’s the Masters of Golf. You watch it on TV and you see it, but when you come to see it in person and just the grounds and how beautiful it is, it’s just amazing,” Emmanuel Sanders stated. “I’m having a great time out here,”

Sanders is not a stranger to the iconic Super Bowl as he has already won a Lombardi Trophy in his career with the Denver Broncos. Apart from that, the former WR has also played in 3 Super Bowls throughout his tenure.

Emmanuel Sanders was inducted into the SMU Athletics Hall of Fame

SMU Athletics was the college that made Emmanuel Sanders the deadly WR he was in the NFL. During his college football career, he broke many records for SMU Athletics. Additionally, the former Steelers WR also dominated in the NFL and won the Super Bowl. For his massive contribution to the game, SMU Athletics recently decided to induct Sanders into their Hall of Fame.

Sanders was an elite WR during his time with the SMU Athletics and was a 4x All-Conference USA WR, 4x team leader in receiving yards, 285 career receptions, 34 career receiving TDs, 3,791 career yards, and 16 100-yard games.

This resume was enough for Emmanuel Sanders to forever be inked in the history of SMU Athletics. Currently, the former WR is more focused on life after the NFL and handles his various business ventures.
