“QB plays like sh*t,” Josh Allen extremely critical of own performance after Bills’ shock defeat against the Jets

The Buffalo Bills‘ mini crisis in the AFC East just grew bigger, as they slipped to 0-2 after a 20-17 defeat against the New York Jets. Bills quarterback Josh Allen had one of those nights, as nothing seemed to click for him.
The poor form continued from where Josh Allen had left it off last week, during their previous encounter against the Green Bay Packers. However, against the Jets, it became more evident due to the negative outcome of the match.
The 26-year-old manager completed only 18 passes of his 34 attempts for 205 yards, recording a completion rate of a mere 52.9 percent. He was sacked a whopping five times and had two interceptions, in a performance that would be remembered for a long, and not for the right reasons.
Josh Allen’s truthful self-analysis showed the quarterback’s bold personality
Josh Allen too admitted that he was way off his game while speaking with reporters in the post-match press conference. He acknowledged his mistakes, claiming that he has taken several wrong decisions during the match, and will look to learn from them in the future.
“It’s tough to win in this league when you’re playing a good team and your quarterback plays like s—,” Allen said. “Made some bad decisions tonight, really cost our team. A lot to learn from, a lot to grow from. But that’s not, that’s not the standard we hold ourselves to. That’s not the ball that we play. So, a lot to look at, a lot to learn from.”
More than the defeat though, the Buffalo Bills’ faithful and coaches would be concerned about the apparent injury that the quarterback seemed to have picked up late in the match. He was seen holding onto his right elbow and is still “being evaluated” by the medical team.
