Kansas City Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes and Buffalo Bills starlet Josh Allen are two of the most promising quarterbacks of the modern era in the NFL. The duo have shown their talent and skill over the past few seasons to earn themselves the particular title.
While Mahomes already won a Super Bowl with the Chiefs in 2020, his counterpart Allen has not had the opportunity to play in the biggest NFL match of a season, so far. Leading ESPN NFL analyst, Stephen A.Smith gave his take on the comparisons and leaned towards Patrick Mahomes being better than Allen at the moment.

Stephen A.Smith engaged in a heated argument with Dan Orlovsky naming Patrick Mahomes as his favourite, and also the better of the two between. He argued with the same fact that the Chiefs quarterback has already won a Super Bowl while Allen has not had the chance to do so in his career.
Stephen A.Smith said, “I love Josh Allen. He’s big time. I ain’t gonna put him over Patrick Mahomes yet. Not yet. I mean, you acted like he could do stuff that Patrick Mahomes can’t do. What I’m saying is we’ve seen how great Josh Allen is. I believe in the brother.”
“I believe in him. I’m glad he got his money. I’m happy for him. I love that. And I think he’s gonna win Buffalo a Super Bowl sooner than later. I got all of that. What I’m saying is, it is Mahomes that’s a Super Bowl champion. It is Mahomes that went to back-to-back Super Bowls.”
Smith continued, “It is Patrick Mahomes that went to four AFC Championship games. And it is Patrick Mahomes who beat Allen the last two years. How in the hell do you put Josh Allen over Patrick Mahomes when obviously, the resume ain’t the same, and he hasn’t knocked off Patrick Mahomes in the postseason yet?”
