The Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen responded to the speculation about whether the Super Bowl window is closed or is getting closed. Multiple times, the star quarterback was asked whether his team had any possibility of being the title contender. He finally shed light on these things.
In an interaction with Adam Schein, the 27-year-old quarterback said that he believes that his team can turn things around despite being in a challenging environment. He said that his team is ready to grab the title as they are surrounded by a good environment and a great set of players.
“One thing I do know is that it is hard to win. It is hard to win consistently in this league. But the type of men we have in the locker room, they are a special group. And I do not want to hear outside noise,” he said. However, acknowledged that his team has a tough job to win the Super Bowl this year. He emphasized focusing every day to grab this year’s title.
The message is clear to the analysts and others who are trying to keep the Buffalo Bills away from the race. The quarterback does not want to spend time listening to them. Instead, he is focused and wants his teammates to contribute in the upcoming NFL journey to clinch the title. Last year the team had a good record and they want to be on the same page this season as well.
Josh Allen’s performance last season
Josh Allen is the Buffalo’s main bet in this NFL season. Already analysts have started to place their bets on the 27-year-old athlete.
The last season of the QB did not go as planned. He suffered a major elbow injury in the second half of the season (9th week in the tournament). The key player missed 4 important matches and failed to contribute in some crucial fixtures. Despite suffering from a major injury the QB covered 267.7 yards and had 14 interceptions.
The Buffalo Bills will begin their NFL season on 11 September. Last year, the Buffalo Bills finished the season with a record of 13-3. They grabbed the AFC East Title and won the wild-card playoffs against the Philadelphia Eagles. However, the team lost the divisional playoffs against the Cincinnati Bengals by 10-27. This year, they will try to win the Super Bowl title by rectifying their past mistakes.
