Tom Brady is undeniably one of the greatest football players of all time. The New England Patriots legend announced his retirement earlier this year and is now focusing on his personal life. Amidst this, the Pats icon gave a piece of advice to Josh Allen during the Buffalo Bills quarterback’s recent appearance in Brady’s “Let’s Go!” podcast.

During the recent episode of SiriusXM’s Let’s Go! podcast, Brady advised Allen to not put his body at risk by rushing a lot. While Allen agreed with Brady’s general opinion, he went on to say that he can’t turn the switch off while competing.

He is right, I'm not saying that he's wrong, but you could get hurt in the pocket just as much as you can outside the pocket. That's the only caveat that I have for that.
Allen told Brady on Let’s Go! podcast.

Furthermore, the Pro Bowl quarterback went on to say that sometimes when one wants to win a football they have to put their body on risk. Additionally, Allen also claimed that he has to give his 100% every time since he sees his teammates do the same for the team on the field.

You gotta go win a football game and sometimes that calls upon me doing something like putting my body on the line for my teammates because of how much I do love my teammates and how much I see them working their tails off too.

While the 7-time Super Bowl Champion was talking about Allen’s long-term career, the Bills quarterback seemingly explained how he wants to give his 100% in every single game.

Speaking to Tom Brady in a recent episode of the “Let’s Go!” podcast Allen said despite understanding the risk in his ground-and-pound game, he cannot switch his competitiveness off because of how much he cares about winning.

That's where the flip for me is so hard to turn off because I just care so much about winning football games and sometimes it does cause the risk to be a little bit higher than maybe even the reward.

In the episode, Brady advised Allen to save his legs for special occasions instead of using them in every game. Brady also called Josh Allen “a fu**king stud” while comparing him to his oldest son.

Nonetheless, Josh Allen is currently looking to lead the Buffalo-based football team to their first-ever Super Bowl victory. In the hunt for the championship glory, the Bills will take on the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday night in their week 9 matchup.
