Jordan Poyer has been involved in many charitable causes from time to time. The Buffalo Bills Safety is a talented player who believes in giving back to the community.

However, his recent golf charity event was canceled due to certain reasons. Poyer was supposed to play golf for a charitable cause at the Trump National Doral Golf Club in South Florida.

Sadly, the promoters and investors pulled out of the event at the last minute because the Golf Club was owned by former President Donald Trump. The former US President has been involved in many lawsuits currently, making him a controversial figure in the country.

Several teams and sponsors pulled out of the event at the last minute, leaving Poyer extremely dissatisfied with the situation. The Bills safety took to Instagram to share his feelings and raise awareness about the country’s situation. 

“While it’s disappointing, I respect their decision. Nevertheless, we will persevere. Next offseason, we will host this event with unwavering dedication, ensuring that it remains free from any external distractions. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all of you. Here are my sincere thoughts,” Jordan Poyer stated on Instagram. “This country needs to change.”

However, this is not the first time that Donald Trump has lost events due to his controversial personality. The eccentric billionaire owns numerous golf clubs around the world and has hosted several golf championships there.

Jordan Poyer will host the golf charity event next year

Usually, there are no hindrances to a good cause. However, this time, Jordan Poyer experienced it while planning his annual golf charity event. Still, the 32-year-old is optimistic and will host the event next year. 

Poyer believes that the country needs to change and adopt a different attitude when it comes to charitable causes. Sadly, this is the most he can do about the situation, and will have to wait until next year. 

On the other hand, his professional career is still exceptional. The Bills safety led his team to the divisional round of the NFL playoffs and will strive to challenge for the Super Bowl next season. Jordan Poyer has also signed a new 2-year deal with the Buffalo-based team worth around $12.5 million after recording 63 tackles in 12 games last season.
