The Green Bay Packers’ newly signed running back Josh Jacobs gave a massive scare to the fans as he was involved in a dirt bike accident recently. Jacobs was streaming on Kick.com with streamer and musical artist B Lou when he was involved in the accident.
In a short video that went viral on social media, Jacobs could be seen riding dirt bikes with streamer B Lou before things started going south. A report shared by Dov Kleiman suggested that Jacobs was riding a dirt bike that was tied behind an ATV bike. Shortly after they started riding, the person on the dirt bike flipped completely over due to the momentum, risking a serious injury.
Many believed Jacobs was the one riding the dirt bike and flipped over. Check out the footage attached below.
However, later, the Packers’ RB took to social media to shoot down the speculations. In a tweet, Jacobs cleared that he wasn’t the one riding on the dirt bike and flipped over.
Idk why people think I fell on a bike I’m not that light skinned.Josh Jacobs wrote on X
The Packers fans can breathe. Their new running back didn’t risk a massive injury. Nonetheless, the rider on the bike, who is presumed to be streamer B Lou, did not suffer any major injuries either. Still, fans warned Jacobs to stay away from risky activities since it could lead to season-ending injuries. But Jacobs is currently in the off-season and will seemingly continue to enjoy his free time by involving in activities he likes.
Josh Jacobs just signed a 4-year deal with the Packers
The young running back’s risky bike accident comes just days after he signed a new deal with the Green Bay Packers in free agency. Jacobs signed a massive four-year deal with the Packers worth $48 million.
Last year, he played with the Las Vegas Raiders on the franchise tag and couldn’t reach a middle ground with them on a long-term contract extension. Now, he will call Green Bay his home, as he is set to gear up for them in 2024.
In 5 seasons so far, Jacobs has registered 5,545 rushing yards and 46 rushing TDs with the Raiders. He registered 2 Pro Bowl campaigns and was named to the first-time All-Pro squad once during his tenure in Vegas.
