The San Francisco 49ers found a gem in rough during the 2022 NFL Draft when they selected Brock Purdy with the dead last pick. He took over the team in week 12 of the 2022 regular season and never looked back. It seemed like the 49ers finally found a franchise leader. However, the rookie sensation got injured during the NFC Championship game earlier and is questionable for the upcoming season. Amidst this, Fox Sports personality Joy Taylor has questioned the Niners’ QB situation.

During a recent episode of the Fox Sports show, SPEAK, Joy Taylor said, “Every single year I have this conversation about the 49ers. Every year they don’t have a franchise quarterback!”

“We have Brock Purdy. We all felt great about Brock Purdy,” said Taylor. “He got injured and now he’s not gonna have the off-season that we expected him to have. I don’t know how you can’t be concerned because I can’t believe that this roster is just gonna be continue to be able to maintain the level of play that they have, year after year without a franchise quarterback.”

Brock Purdy got hurt in the first quarter of the NFC Championship game against the Philadelphia Eagles, which led to the 49ers losing the game in a humiliating fashion. Purdy got elbow surgery in the off-season and is in the process of rehab. He is expected to be ready to play football again in the upcoming season according to multiple reports.

The San Francisco 49ers’ rookie sensation Brock Purdy recently got engaged to his girlfriend Jenna Brandt. He announced his engagement with pictures of his proposal on his Instagram account.

The 23-year-old quarterback started dating Jenna Brandt in 2022. They both attended Iowa State. Jenna played volleyball at Iowa State for 3 seasons before transferring to the University of Northern Iowa in 2021.

Brandt has been a massive supporter of the 49ers QB Purdy in his roller coaster of a career in the NFL so far. She was seen supporting the signal-caller from the stands during the Niners games in the 2022 season.

On the sporting side of things, Purdy is still recovering from the injury he suffered during the postseason back in January. He is expected to be completely recovered and ready to play in 2023 for the Niners.
