“I talk to Julian regularly,” Bill Belichick makes a scathing comment on Julian Edelman’s possible return to the NFL
Julian Edelman with Bill Belichick
Julian Edelman was an integral part of the Patriots dynasty for a number of years and when he retired it was a big blow to the Patriots. The former Quarterback turned wide receiver is living a retired life with a few media appearances mixed in between. Edelman during his time in Boston was a fan favourite and universally liked. One of his fans is New England’s stoic coach Bill Belichick.
So when the 3 times Super Bowl Champion during his appearance on The Rich Eisen Show hinted at a possible comeback. The Patriots who are hoping to recapture the magic will benefit a lot from having Edelman in their ranks, especially with their young Quarterback Mac Jones.
The world was curious what the 6 times Super Bowl-winning Head Coach had to say about one of his favourite players returning. If Julian Edelman ever returns chances of him going back to the Patriots are much higher than joining Tom Brady in Tampa.

Bill Belichick throws it back to Julian Edelman
Edelman’s words that had the world on alert were made when asked about a possible mid-season return-“Hey, you never say never. But I’m excited for the opportunities I have coming on my plate right now. If any of those situations come up, of course you’ve got to take a look at them.”
So when Belichick was asked regarding Edelman’s remarks on “The Greg Hill Show” he replied-“I’ve talked to Julian, I talk to him fairly regularly. So, yeah, I don’t know about him talking to Rich Eisen and all that. You’d have to ask Julian about that, but I don’t know.”
Belichick’s response was on point and as scathing as always.
