The Super Bowl is known to be the biggest event in American Sports, yet Justin Bieber denied performing when asked. Usher, who owned the halftime show at the big game, even requested the renowned artist to put on a real performance, but he still didn’t agree.
Ahead of the Super Bowl LVIII, the longtime friends’ Usher and Bieber instigated quite a handful of rumors on social media about their grand collaboration onstage in front of 65,000 live audiences and millions globally. But when the halftime showtime began, fans could only spot Usher onstage. Though he brought several big names like Jermaine Dupri, Alicia Keys, H.E.R, Lil Jon, will.i.am and Ludacris, one specific artist was missing, which raised many eyebrows.
The “Baby” singer was spotted with his wife, Hailey enjoying the game from the $2.5 million suite of Fanatics co-owner Michael Rubin at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. A source close to Page Six said:
There’s no bad blood between Usher and Justin. Justin just wasn’t up for it — he just wasn’t feeling it.A source close to Page Six said
Sources also say that Usher did everything in his power to persuade Bieber as he wanted them to cherish their history together, onstage. And what could have been a better place for that other than the Super Bowl; but as Bieber didn’t want to, fans missed it.
Justin Beiber and Hailey Beiber passionate kiss on the big screen
As Beiber disappointed his fans by not performing in the halftime show, he sure gave them something to talk about when he shared a passionate kiss with his wife, Hailey. When the jumbotron camera panned towards the couple, the Canadian singer gave a thumbs up and then immediately towards his wife and gave her a kiss on the cheek.
However, Hailey, who was also joined in by her bestie and supermodel Kendall Jenner for the grand Super Bowl game, didn’t look as enthusiastic for her husband’s kiss in front of the 65,000 fans.
Even though the “Yummy” singer refused to perform, he seemed to have a blast at the game and truly enjoyed the company of his wife, Jenner, Russell Wilson, and Ciara.
