The Super Bowl halftime show remains a vital aspect of the biggest American sporting spectacle. Justin Bieber was rumored to have a collaborative performance with Usher, his longtime pal. However, Bieber did not perform in the halftime show and was just a spectator.
When the camera had a close-up shot, he shared an intense moment with his wife. The pop star kissed his wife, Hailey Bieber, and the Camera showed it on the big screen. This came as a shock to the music enthusiasts who expected a combined performance of Justin Biber and Usher. It was ‘kind of fixed‘ earlier.
Nonetheless, the refusal, as per multiple sources, came much later. Sources suggested that Bieber refused to perform in the dying moments before the Super Bowl clash. Bieber was present in the stadium and enjoyed every bit of football. However, he never showed up to the stage.
The absence of Bieber in the performance triggered controversies. Some people thought a combination between Bieber and Usher would excite the stadium. When that did not happen, they got frustrated and started blaming Bieber. In addition, some of them took the issue to social media and expressed their agony over Bieber’s PDA with his wife.
The Super Bowl LVIII clash fulfilled the excitement of the fans despite no Justin Bieber performance
Though the audience failed to enjoy the collaboration between Usher and Justin Bieber, their adrenaline rush was fulfilled by the Super Bowl clash between the two teams. The ball rolled like a dice between the two, and each quarter became important.
After a null-and-void first quarter, with both teams failing to score, the real drama began in the second quarter. The Niners gathered steam in the second, and the Chiefs returned in the third. The Niners had a lead in the last quarter until almost the last minute. However, a field goal took the game to OT. A brilliant touchdown drive by Patrick Mahomes clinched a clutch victory for the team, and the Chiefs emerged victorious.
Though the Chiefs have won consecutive SB titles, the hunger has not died. Both Mahomes and Travis Kelce claimed that they would strive for more. It was not easy winning it twice, but they did it. Threepeat in the NFL remains very difficult, but the Chiefs have what it takes to attempt for another Super Bowl glory.
