Justin Fields has been one of the worst-performing QBs in the NFL since he was drafted. Although he led the league in rushing yards last season, his overall stats were pretty lukewarm. With increasing pressure, the Chicago Bears QB is set for another season and believes this will be a legendary one for him. Fields was recently featured on the ‘All Things Covered’ podcast and spoke about his current form.

During the interaction, he was asked about the Bears record of a QB not passing 4000+ passing yards in their history. Fields was extremely confident when answering the question and believes he can do it next season. “I will,” Justin Fields stated. “I plan on doing it this year, too. I plan on doing it this year,” The Bears have never had a QB that has surpassed the 4000 yards passing mark. The closes someone came to that was Erik Kramer, who recorded 3,838 passing yards in the year 1995.

Justin Fields has taken an important challenge and will have to completely turn his form around to achieve that. The Bears QB threw for just 2,242 yards last season. On the other hand, Fields is also on the verge of losing his job and this may be a make-or-break season for the young QB. There are many analysts who believe Fields is one of the most pressured QBs in the NFL currently.

Colin Cowherd believes Justin Fields is a YouTube quarterback

Justin Fields is still trying to find his place in the NFL and consistent poor seasons haven’t helped his case. Colin Cowherd believes he is the most pressured QB in the NFL and can easily be called a YouTube QB.

“Right now, he’s a YouTube quarterback. His highlights are great. 79 passer rating, five and 20. Not saying I’m bailing. Still think it’s 55-45 he’s gonna succeed. Drip, drip, drip, drip,” Coli Cowherd stated on the Herd.

Fields has great rushing abilities however, he will have to improve significantly when it comes to his passing game. Cowherd also pointed out that Fields has an abysmal record compared to the other QBs he’s compared with including Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson.

Justin Fields has a great offense around him and the Bears are looking extremely confident going into the next season. With their division weakened after the departure of Aaron Rodgers, the team will look to dominate it eventually.
