The quest for the AFC West title will be as interesting as ever. With the Chargers looking as the favourites to win the title over the six straight title winners, the Chiefs. The competition is pretty intense and any team can win including the Broncos and the Raiders.

The Chargers are the clear favourites as they have a more well-rounded roster of players with Justin Herbert being the best QB in the league. NFL analyst Jordan Cornette stated that the 24-year-old will be the MVP this season.

Justin Herbert is still under his rookie contract and is being compared with a great QB like Patrick Mahomes. In the 2021 season, Herbert threw for 5,01 yards, 38 touchdowns and 15 interceptions.

Kansas City Chiefs will be a formidable opponent to Herbert and the Chargers. The reigning champions have won the AFC West title for six seasons straight and will be looking for the 7th one. With defensive tackle Chris Johnson and star QB Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs will be looking to add that 7th title.

With the Chargers being clear underdogs this season, they will have to deliver something exceptional to defeat the Chiefs who have experience winning this title.
