It seems like wide receiver Kadarius Toney is still not over the rough breakup with the New York Giants last season despite winning the Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs. Toney played a huge role for the Chiefs in the Super Bowl game against the Philadelphia Eagles back in February. He got rewarded with a Super Bowl ring for it which he used to taunt the Giants fanbase.

The six-foot pass catcher Kadarius Toney recently made a collaboration video with the Icebox YouTube channel. In the video, Toney said that he would have his Super Bowl ring to be fitted for his middle finger to taunt everybody in New York. “Aye, this for everybody in New York right here,” Toney told the camera while showing his middle finger.

“I’m gonna go to the middle of New York with my middle finger up,” said Toney later in the same video. “I love trolling. They tried to troll me, I’ve got something for ’em.”  Check out the footage below!

During the 2022 season, Toney had a rough breakup with the New York-based football team. Toney was drafted by the Giants in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft. In his rookie campaign, Toney started four games and caught 39 passes for 420 yards. He was struggling with injuries throughout his rookie campaign but showed some promising flashes whenever he was on the field.

In his second year, he played only two games for the G-Men before surprisingly being acquired by the Chiefs in a midseason trade. Even then, his injury struggles continued as he only played seven games for the Chiefs and registered 171 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

However, Toney had a huge game in the Super Bowl as he gave life to the Chiefs’ offense with an electric 65-yard punt return in the early 4th quarter that helped the Chiefs to win the championship game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The former first-round draft pick Kadarius Toney still has two years left in his rookie deal. Toney, who will be eligible for an extension in the next off-season, should perform at a high level in the upcoming season to secure a second contract.

So far in his short career, Toney has shown some flashes in the field with his athletic skills, but he hasn’t even registered a 500-yard season yet. For a first-round draft selection, Toney hasn’t lived up to his hype and is due for a breakout season in 2023.

If Toney doesn’t have a Pro Bowl kind of season in the upcoming season, the Chiefs would be hesitant to pick up his 5th-year option, which would cost them approximately $13 million. In brief, it is a very important NFL season ahead for the 24-year-old wide receiver.
