“Dude’s faster than Tom Brady!” – Katt Williams, with 4.97 seconds, clocks better timing than the 7-time Super Bowl champion in a 40-yard dash
Williams has been the talk of the town since he appeared on Shannon Sharpe's podcast.

Katt Williams has still got that juice in him. The popular American stand-up comedian has made a resurgence amongst media circles ever since his blockbuster appearance on Shannon Sharpe‘s Club Shay Shay podcast. He happened to make a pretty substantial claim on the podcast when he claimed that he could clock a 4.5-second 40-yard dash at the age of 52. While many fans called him out on this, he shortly put up a video proving his statement.
He shut the critics up well. Katt Williams was seen running the 40-yard dash with relative ease. It seemed natural to him, he barely tripped or seemed exhausted during the run. It is impressive for a man his age to be doing this. What makes this more impressive is the fact that he beat Tom Brady’s 40-yard record at the NFL Combine. Brady ran the dash in 5.28 seconds. Even in his recent redemption run, Brady beat his original Combine time but was still slower than Williams as he clocked in at 5.12 seconds.
Katt Williams has not been training and to see him do this despite that is amazing. Imagine what a 20-year-old Katt Williams with proper training and diet could have done. That’s some food for thought. Well, it would not be surprising if Brady sees this and the competitive fire within him leads him to start training to beat Williams’ record.
Katt Williams’ 40-yard-dash time has left fans in awe
The comedian’s recent appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s podcast resulted in the former NFL tight end making bank off of him. Sharpe’s podcast garnered over 60 million views and his subscriber count went up substantially. He went as far as to state that the interview with Katt Williams earned him more money than the biggest contract he had signed when he was an active player in the NFL.
Here’s how fans reacted to Katt Williams running the 40-yard-dash:

Katt Williams is 52 years old running a 4.9. It’s likely that he did run a 4.3 when he was younger. pic.twitter.com/1aenlVhNtM

4.97 at his age is REALLY impressive, especially with how much he smokes. This shows that he probably was really fast when he was younger.

Katt Williams made a lot of claims on the podcast. In addition to this, he called out some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry such as Steve Harvey, Kevin Hart, and Cedric the Entertainer. It was one of the bigger reasons for the massive viewership the video recorded.
