Aaron Rodgers‘ exit from the Green Bay Packers created massive headlines in mainstream media. The veteran QB played in Green Bay for around 2 decades and established an unsurpassable legacy. Rodgers’ subsequent move to the Jets made many doubtful of the Packers future next season. With young QB Jordan Love in charge, the future looks pretty bleak for them.
However, DT Kenny Clark is confident in his abilities. The Packers DT recently sat down for an interview with CBS Sports and spoke extensively about the Packers chances next season. The Green Bay-based team are clear underdogs and Clark is excited about that prospect. “One hundred percent, but that’s cool,” Clark stated in an interview with CBS’s Zach Gelb, “I like it that way. This has been one of the first offseasons where we ain’t really been getting the credit, getting the love.”
“Everybody says Aaron determines whether we win or lose, so we love it. We’re going to embrace it. When it comes to Week One, when the season gets here, we’ll see how everything stacks up. We’re excited about it.” Since the tenure of Aaron Rodgers, the Packers were always expected to challenge for the NFC and the Super Bowl. However, his departure has brought a breath of fresh air where the team can start anew.

Aaron Rodgers will be met with massive expectations in New York
The Packers bid farewell to one of the greatest NFL QBs of all time as he starts his journey with another team. However, this journey can be an uphill battle for Aaron Rodgers who will be met with massive expectations. The back-to-back MVP winner is tasked with leading the Jets to the playoffs while competing in arguably the most difficult division in the league. Many NFL analysts are doubtful about his skill at 39 years old.
The Jets haven’t made the playoffs in 23 years and this may be their chance. Rodgers’ arrival has created a massive buzz in New York and the Jets fandom can once again hope for a playoff finish.
Aaron Rodgers has also shown deep optimism since moving to the Jets and believes he can achieve greater things here. However, the season starts in September and that’s when everyone will find out.
