Kenneth Shane Pickett has made a name for himself at the highest level and is being looked up to as the next-gen star. He played college football at the University of Pittsburgh and impressed one and all with his performances. Born in Oakhurst, New Jersey on June 6, 1998, he attended Ocean Township High School.
He superbly led the Ocean Township Spartans to the New Jersey Central Group III semifinal game as a junior, leading his team to a 9-2 record. Moreover, 247Sports ranked Pickett as the No. 23 overall high school football player in New Jersey in his senior year which is enough to prove how talented he is.

Pickett’s numbers are indeed impressive and he has received several prestigious awards as well. Originally, Pickett committed to play college football at Temple University, however, he decided to finally feature for the University of Pittsburgh. During the 2022 NFL draft, Kenneth was with his family and friends but he was looking a little nervous as his name wasn’t coming up in the draft.
At that point in time, the cameras panned at Kenny’s girlfriend Amy Paternoster who was seen extremely worried and as expected, the internet went into a frenzy. Reactions started pouring in with many claiming that Amy could see her boyfriend’s millions of dollars vanishing away.
In the end, it all panned out well for Pickett and his family as the talented QB was picked up by the Steelers as the 20th pick in the draft. It will be interesting to see how Pickett performs in the coming season for the Pittsburgh-based franchise.
