The regular season of the NFL 2023-24 is set to come to an end. With three to four matches in hand, the MVP debate is getting intense. The analysts have started picking their favorites and are indulging in heated discussions with their colleagues. Amid this, Keyshawn Johnson, the former wide receiver and present-day analyst predicted his favorites for the MVP Award. He went for Lamar Jackson, Brock Purdy, and Christian McCaffrey.

In one of the recent episodes of Undisputed, Johnson firmly asserted that Jackson, Purdy, and McCaffrey are in an equal position to win this year’s MVP Award. All this can be decided on the Monday Night Football game between the 49ers and the Ravens. Who will perform better on MNF will win the MVP, believes Johnson.

This thing is coming down to three players in my opinion. Three players on one night. One night, three players. Lamar Jackson, Christian McCaffrey, and Brock Purdy. Whoever wins the game and how will they play in the game, will select the MVP. If Brock Purdy plays the way he has been playing recently and if they win, he will probably be the MVP. If Lamar Jackson plays the way he has been playing and if they win then he will probably be the MVP. Same thing for Mccffrey.

Johnson also hailed Lamar Jackson separately. He added Jackson does everything for his team. The analyst had a comparison with McCaffrey and indicated that both do what their teams want to do from them. Johnson further added that the Baltimore Ravens are a different side with Jackson. When he does not play for the team, the Ravens struggle.

Keyshawn Johnson left Dak Prescott out of the MVP race

Dak Prescott was the MVP frontrunner for the first time in his career until last week. His performance in the league earned him the position. However, the game against the Bills provided a major halt to the discussion. It seems that Prescott will not make it to the MVP this year. Keyshawn Johnson also thinks the same. He left Prescott out of the league after the latter’s horrendous ‘0 TD’ performance against the Bills.

You mention that this a quarterback award. But two quarterbacks really left in this race because Dak Prescott hurt himself against the Buffalo. He will take this thing all the way to Washington and have 15 touchdowns in three games. He is presently sitting in the third or fourth spot right now. To go back to the top spot, it will take a lot.

Purdy and McCaffrey are presently the most discussed MVP frontrunners. Jackson is a bit behind. It will be interesting to see who ends up becoming this season’s MVP.
