Keyshawn Johnson has a BLUNT message for Caleb Williams ahead of the NFL Draft amid Combine saga
Johnson doesn't believe the demands Caleb Williams' camp are making even before becoming an NFL quarterback is unrealistic, which the league won't bend to.

Keyshawn Johnson appears to be at his limit, with Caleb Williams making ‘unrealistic’ demands even before becoming an NFL quarterback. Being a USC alumnus, Johnson is a massive believer in Williams’ capabilities. But the stunts he and his father are pulling just a few months before the draft are not painting a good picture.
Throughout the last college football campaign, rumors of Williams being the first pick in the 2024 NFL Draft became one of the primary topics of conversation. And if that happened, the 22-year-old would end up with the Chicago Bears. The idea of playing in the Chicago snow did not entice his father too much. Not to mention, the Bears aren’t known to develop a quarterback.
Moreover, the Williams camp has demanded a stake in whichever franchise drafts him. Perhaps to make sure of the future if he doesn’t make history like Michael Jordan, whose countless videos he grew up watching. This has ticked off Keyshawn Johnson, who previously claimed Williams has all the qualities of being a great leader.
During Wednesday’s segment of FOX Sports Undisputed, Johnson claimed that Williams’ father’s demands don’t ‘make sense.’ They may sound reasonable, but to outright demand favors, even stepping into the shoes of an NFL athlete is very well aware that it won’t come to fruition.
Johnson ranted:
You [Caleb Williams, father] are asking questions about why your son can't get equity in a team. Now you are unrealistic... Why are you even asking about something that's not going to happen? It's a collective bargain for a reason. It's done; they did that a couple of years ago. His son is a good football player, but they’re not changing the rules for your son.Keyshawn Johnson said
Keyshawn Johnson answered who the Bears should choose: Caleb Williams or Justin Fields?
It’s less than two months before the league holds the next draft. Several rookies will make their first steps into the NFL, coinciding with key player trades. While the Bears haven’t announced whether they will pursue Caleb Williams or keep Justin Fields, the consensus is that general manager Ryan Poles will lean more toward Williams.
Johnson’s colleague and Undisputed host Skip Bayless opined that Williams “will prove to be better than what Justin Fields has been.” Bayless cited Williams’ debut game for the Sooners, in which he beat Texas 55-48 while registering over 300 total yards. “That kid has got charisma,” Bayless told Johnson, who agreed but has a different opinion on who should lead the Bears.
Johnson said:
He’s coming from a system—an air raid system—that hasn’t produced any quarterbacks of significance in the NFL.Keyshawn Johnson said
As per the former NFL wide receiver, the Bears should stick with Fields. On top of that, acquire top playmakers such as Marvin Harrison Jr. and a lights-out tackle.
Johnson told Bayless:
I don't think the Bears should trade Justin Fields. He should still be a Chicago Bear. Draft Marvin Harrison Jr., go get a tackle with their second pick, and build their roster. That's what I think, but I am not Ryan Poles.Keyshawn Johnson told Skip Bayless
Since becoming the potential No. 1 pick in the next draft, Williams has announced that he will not throw in the NFL Combine. Not only that, he will enter the draft without an agent.
