Taylor Swift is the lucky charm for Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs. The pop star’s appearance on the stands is beneficial for both the NFL as well as fans in Arrowhead because when she is present, the team is yet to lose a game and the star tight end is yet to have a bad game in her presence. While some fans may consider the hype around Kelce and Swift’s ‘relationship’ to be blown out of proportion, Undisputed on FS1’s Keyshawn Johnson is not that worried by it.

Keyshawn Johnson‘s primary concern when the news regarding Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift broke out was that their relationship would be a distraction for the tight end and when the Eras Tour star became a regular sight at the team’s games, he was concerned that it would be detrimental to the team’s focus towards winning games.

I agree that it hasn't been a distraction.

But the analyst has just one issue with their bond. 

I just want Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce to make it official, so we don't have to speculate. I don't like talking about relationships...for all we know they could be collaborating on something together."

While Taylor and Travis have not kept their bond a secret, they are yet to come out and make it official that they are serious.

Keyshawn Johnson shared the media’s concerns regarding Taylor Swift being around the team.

Many people thought it would be a distraction because...she is one of the pop stars...that we've seen in a long time. You know that noise is  like panning the camera as soon as he makes a catch.

But the analyst was confident that Kelce would not succumb to the distractions and, ultimately, football would remain his first priority always.

He isn't built like that because he was already for all intensive purposes, in the professional sports world, a star. This is not some first year, second year, or third year guy coming into the league, bumping into someone at a restaurant and take her on a date and it becomes news.

While their relationship has hogged the limelight for the majority of this season with the NFL and social media pages giving them more air time than actual games, it has not shifted the Chiefs focus or Kelce’s focus away from the ultimate goal which is to keep winning.

Johnson concluded by stating:

The great thing for this team is that they're still on course to making yet another AFC Championship game at home and possibly another Super Bowl.

Following the loss to Detroit in their season-opener, Kansas City has been on a winning streak. At this rate, the Chiefs are right on track to make yet another Super Bowl this year.
