Kirk Cousins
The Vikings had an impressive start to the season, with QB Kirk Cousins delivering probably the best season of his life. They were 8-1 in the NFL before facing the Cowboys.
Before the Vikings-Cowboys game, the Kirk Cousins-led team was the favorite to win, but the Cowboys delivered a spectacular team performance that dominated both in offense and defense.
The Cowboys have the best defense in the league and it was pretty visible in the game as Cousins couldn’t stay in the pocket for long.
The QB had the most disappointing game of his life as the Vikings weren’t able to score a single touchdown, while the Cowboys scored multiple touchdowns and thrashed the Vikings with a marginal score of 40-3.
Cousins was pressured throughout the game by the Cowboys’ defense, led by Micah Parsons. The Vikings QB gave up 7 sacks for a loss of 49 yards resulting in the game resulting in Cousins being benched and backup Nick Mullens being called for QB duties.
After the high of the Commanders’ game, the Vikings were met with reality when they faced the formidable Cowboys. The Vikings still have a great 8-2 record and are on their way to being division champions.
Kirk Cousins was ridiculed on NFL Twitter

Kirk Cousins wasn’t able to move on the field, let alone throw the ball in this week’s SNF. The Cowboys had overwhelmed the Vikings’ O-line and Cousins lost all the protection he had. Many pointed this out on Twitter as fingers were being pointed at the Vikings QB.
NFL Twitter went berserk after the Cowboys-Vikings game ended and everyone started to roast the Minnesota-based team and their starting QB.
Cousins was also trolled for the chains that he wore after the win against Commanders. The Vikings QB quickly became a meme on the internet and everyone called him out through hilarious reactions and jokes. Take a look at some of them down below.
The Vikings will have to recover from this loss and focus on their next game against the Patriots led by the legendary coach Bill Belichick. The Vikings QB is an integral part of the team and will have to come back to his previous form.
