The NFL 2023-24 season witnessed a lot of players suffering from Achilles Tendon injury. It started with Aaron Rodgers getting injured in his first game in the New York Jets color. Later, the list got extended and Kirk Cousins‘ name also was added to the list. The quarterback did not get the opportunity to provide his services to his team after the mid-point of the season.
Cousins is in the process of recovery. His present state can probably make the fans happy. The quarterback was spotted inside a Tennis court throwing football. The movement of his legs was swift and it did not seem that the quarterback had any major discomfort. However, his recovery is still under process and it will take some more time for him to come back to the field.

The future of the quarterback with the team Minnesota Vikings is unsure. The contract of the QB is about to expire on March 13. The Vikings team has an opportunity to negotiate in the coming week regarding his contract. The team had kept a close eye on the situation of the quarterback as one of the team doctors suggested surgery for him.
After Cousins got injured, the team went for Josh Dobbs. Dobbs, in his short stint as a Viking quarterback failed to impress much as he was subjected to five interceptions against his five touchdowns. The performance of Cousins was certainly much more impressive than Dobbs. Hence, there high possibility that the team might provide a new contract to Cousins. The quarterback in his eight games, threw for more than 2,000 yards with 18 touchdowns.
Robert Griffin III advocated for a Kirk Cousins return to the Vikings
Despite all the uncertainty regarding Cousins’ future, Robert Griffin III suggested he sign a contract with the Vikings. According to a report by The Mirror, the former signal caller claimed that the Vikings are Cousins’ best shot to win a Super Bowl.
Yes, there are a lot of teams that need a quarterback but few teams that need a QB are closer to winning a Super Bowl than the Minnesota Vikings. And make sure you heard me right: I didn’t say the Minnesota Vikings are close to winning the Super Bowl, I just said few teams that need a quarterback are closer to winning one than the Vikings.Robert Griffin III said

The report further noted that the quarterback had already decided to snub free agency and join the team. However, no official announcement has come yet.
