The former Atlanta Falcons linebacker Kroy Biermann’s rough divorce with his ex-wife Kim Zolciak just got uglier. The reality television star recently called the police on her ex-husband Biermann after he accused a friend of Zolciak of kidnapping their young son. Zolciak claims that her ex-husband had an overreaction.
In a June 16 audio call obtained by TMZ, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star can be heard complaining that after she allowed her friend to pick up her 12-year-old son, her ex-husband Kroy Biermann accused her of kidnapping their young son. Zolciak’s friend allegedly picked up the Biermann’s son for a playdate at the rodeo.
“[Kroy] has harassed not only the mother, but my son is shaking and hysterically crying,” she claimed on the phone call. “And now I’m just going to leave and just go pick him up to prevent this situation. I just don’t know what else to do at this point.”
The 45-year-old former reality TV star also accused her ex-husband of stealing her bag that contained their divorce papers according to the call. “This is just so petty and I hate to call 911 for this situation,” she added. Zolciak also claimed that she is worried because Biermann is known to do crazy things.
As for the former Falcons linebacker, a source claimed that Biermann overreacted to the situation since he doesn’t trust Zolciak’s friend for unrevealed seasons. This drama comes just weeks after the duo filed divorce papers after being married for 11 years.
According to documents from the legal battle, Biermann claimed that Kim Zolciak has a gambling problem which left them financially devastated. Furthermore, he also insisted that their 6 kids need to be protected from the singer because of her abusive behavior.
