Brady had an unreal first season with the Bucs as the QB led them to a Super Bowl win. 49ers HC Kyle Shanahan recently expressed his regret over not signing TB12 when he had the chance.

“I’d like to say, ‘Of course not,’ but . . . when you watch him that first week in Tampa, you’re like, ‘What the hell was anyone ever thinking?’” Kyle Shanahan stated. “The dude looks the exact same, he did that year [in 2020]. He does when he comes off injuries, and I think he’s playing as good now and throwing the ball as well now as I’ve seen anybody ever do it.”

Shanahan believes that Brady is exceptionally talented and is still playing like a player in his prime while being 45 years old. The QB has won 7 Super Bowl titles and is still breaking numerous records every season.

Tom Brady was showered with praises by Kyle Shanahan

Tom Brady has kept it no secret that he has been a fan of the 49ers since his childhood.

Tom Brady’s impressive run of form at the age of 45 has impressed 49ers HC Kyle Shanahan who couldn’t stop showering praises on the Bucs QB before they face each other on the turf.

“He plays the position better than anyone ever, and he’s definitely the GOAT from what I’ve seen, but I don’t say that just because he has won Super Bowls,” Shanahan said. “I say it because of how he plays the position. The ball always goes to the right spot, and that answer is based off of a thousand different things that could be match-ups, it could be the coverage that could be based off of down and distance, the time in the game, how the defense is playing.”

Shanahan has always admired Brady and regrets his decision not to sign the QB in 2020, however, he could again have the same opportunity as the legendary QB is possibly going to be a free agent next season and he has shown a desire to continue playing in the NFL for some more years.
