“Had to Google when I heard of you”: Lamar Jackson destroys Bernard Pollard who claimed that no top WR wants to play with the Ravens QB
Lamar Jackson and Bernard Pollard
Lamar Jackson is the most popular player in the NFL now, apart from his ongoing contract negotiations with the Baltimore Ravens in which he is representing himself and is playing hardball with his team who seem reluctant to offer him money. Apart from this, he has an ongoing Twitter beef with former Ravens safety, Bernard Pollard. The two have gone back and forth quite a bit, here’s how it all started.
Pollard tweeted that no top wideout in the league would ever want to play with Lamar and cited the latest free agency where there were multiple star wideouts on the market but none of them wanted to go play with Jackson as their first choice. The Ravens quarterback gets the respect but nobody wishes to play with him.

“You got your Super Bowl because of Ray Lewis and Ed Reed”: Lamar Jackson claps back at Bernard Pollard
Lamar Jackson did not seem to be having it as he responded with a strong clap back. He accuses Pollard of repeatedly hating on him ever since Lamar became a Raven. In addition to this, Jackson also told Pollard that the only Super Bowl he won was because of Ray Lewis and Ed Reed.
Bernard Pollard appeared to try and calm the argument down and wished Lamar good luck trying to win a Super Bowl. However, the Ravens quarterback clearly woke up on the wrong side of his bed today as he went on to diss the retired Safety. LJ went on to take shots at him and told the safety that he had to google his name because he had never heard of him before. “You keep dissing like you was a HOFer but you far from it,” Jackson destroyed Pollard.
Pollard responded by stating, “Don’t want HOF and don’t care about it. I made people fear me.” Just a reminder, this is the man who knocked Tom Brady out on the opening night of 2008 and made the league create a separate rule that ensures the safety of the quarterbacks.
Lamar Jackson seems to have gone a bit overboard after this point, the quarterback roasted the safety for his soft personality and clapped back by telling him that nobody feared him. Pollard casually posted one of his top highlights after that, to which Lamar Jackson replied with this.
Following this, Bernard posted a highlight from his career, and Lamar was not done trolling him. He called this play the only highlight of his career. Bernard Pollard was not a great player, he was not one of those players who just took your breath away instantly. He was average and a role player in that Ravens defense. He has not been selected to any pro bowls either.
Coming to Lamar Jackson, it was probably not the best thing for him to get into a war of tweets with a former player from his own team. It does not suit an MVP and most importantly, given that his contract negotiations with the Ravens are still going on, he should refrain from such behavior.
