However, Davis’ power and technique proved to be too much for Garcia to handle. The Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson is still fighting for a second contract in the NFL. He was drafted by the Ravens in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft. Since then, he has been the face of the franchise.

The talented QB has won the league MVP award, has been to 2 Pro Bowl, and was named to the first-team All-Pro squad one time. Despite all of his accomplishments in the league, the 26-year-old quarterback is struggling to get a second contract in the NFL.

Many people believe it was because Lamar Jackson demanded a fully guaranteed contract similar to the one the Cleveland Browns gave Deshaun Watson. Some teams are reportedly not ready to give a fully guaranteed contract to Jackson, who has missed 10 games in the last 2 regular seasons due to injuries.

After finishing his rookie deal in 2021, Jackson played for the Ravens under the fifth-year option in 2022 and now he has been placed under the non-exclusive franchise tag worth $32.4 million. He might have to play for the Ravens under the tag to get the contract he desires in the 2024 off-season.
