“Nobody is as TALENTED as him”: Larry Fitzgerald says Kyler Murray has the ability to guide Cardinals to BIG wins even without DeAndre Hopkins

“Nobody is as TALENTED as him”: Larry Fitzgerald says Kyler Murray has the ability to guide Cardinals to BIG wins even without DeAndre Hopkins

Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins

DeAndre Rashaun Hopkins is a name to reckon with in American football. The wide receiver who features for the Arizona Cardinals was first drafted into the NFL by the Houston Texans in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft and since then, he hasn’t looked back.

Named to five All-Pro teams, Hopkins has achieved a lot in his illustrious career. However, his admirers were taken aback when he was handed a six game suspension for the coming season for violating NFL’s performance enhancement drug policy. This indeed will greatly impact Cardinals’ performance as Hopkins has been a big part of the side.

Commenting on how important Hopkins is for the Cardinals and how they will fare in his absence, legendary Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald had a few things to say. He claimed that although Hopkins’s absence will affect them, Kyler Murray has the ability to still guide the side effectively to important wins.

Obviously, the schedule’s really tough early in the season I know they’re going to be without Hop, but I know Kyler has the ability and the fortitude to be able to lift this team up,” Fitzgerald told MJ Acosta-Ruiz. Larry went on to shower more praise on Kyler claiming that he hasn’t seen anyone as talented as him.

There’s nobody in the game as talented as, as diverse an array of abilities in terms of his athleticism, his ability to throw the ball going left or right,” he claimed. “He’s immensely talented. He’s a guy that everybody around the league has to prepare differently for,” he said.

Larry added that the Cardinals, even in the absence of Hopkins are capable enough to defeat good teams. “You bring in Marquise Brown, Zach Ertz is now coming into his second year, better acclimated with the system. James Conner is fully healthy going back into the year. I really like where they are positioned.”

It goes without saying that Murray is indeed a fantastic QB and in Hopkins’ absence, he would have a little bit more pressure on him but if we go by Larry’s prediction, the team has enough gas to run the opponents ragged even if someone like Hopkins isn’t available for a few games.
