Travis Kelce has beaten Travis Scott when it comes to popularity. The tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs has been a staple in the news, the reason for this sudden surge in popularity is due to his budding romance with pop star Taylor Swift. The Kelce-Swift era began in an unexpected fashion and has quickly progressed within a short period of time.

It appears that LeBron James, who hails from North East Ohio just like Travis Kelce, is also a fan of the Kelce-Swift connection. The forward for the Los Angeles Lakers had this to say to Travis Kelce.

“Listen, sometimes you got to give the crown up to the next one…What Travis got going on right now and the Swifties, I think I’m going to give the crown to him right now. He deserves it right now,” he said.

LeBron James believes Travis Kelce deserves to be the King of Ohio

Well, it must be a subject of sheer happiness when the King of North East Ohio himself gives you respect and admiration, not to mention his crown of being the most popular man in Ohio right now. LeBron James can recognize real and he clearly sees that Travis Kelce is a baller on and off the field. LeBron was responding to a question asked by Broadcaster Charissa Thompson, who called LeBron the “most famous athlete from Northeast Ohio.”

Travis Kelce and LeBron James have the same roots. The tight end for the Chiefs grew up in Cleveland Heights, an hour away from LeBron’s hometown of Akron, Ohio. LeBron James had most recently called out Travis and Jason Kelce in a friendly manner for not having sent him an invite to appear on the duos New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast.

Safe to say, Travis Kelce has struck gold this time. The Swift-Kelce situation does not have a tag on it yet, while the close friends of the duo have continued to insinuate that they are still getting to know one another and that they have yet to define their relationship. Given the way things have been progressing lately, it would not be surprising to hear either of them come out and state that they are officially together.
