On February 1, legendary quarterback Tom Brady announced that he is retiring for good this time. The decision came after a tough personal and professional year. He divorced his wife of 13 years and the mother of his children Gisele Bündchen. Professionally, Brady had the worst season of his career as the Bucs went 8-9 which was his first losing season record.
Brady called it quits after 23 years in the NFL after starting the journey as the 199th pick to 7x Super Bowl champion. Tom Brady spent 20 years with the New England Patriots, where he helped establish the Patriots dynasty by winning 6 Super Bowls. He then left them to join Tampa Bay Buccaneers and won his 7th title in his first year with them.
He initially announced his retirement after two seasons with the Bucs but came back for a final time for the 2022 season in hopes of winning another Lombardi Trophy but couldn’t. After retiring, Brady told that he would join Fox Sports in 2024 with whom he signed a 10-year $375 million deal. There is no chance that he will be coming back like last year because he has filed the paperwork with NFLPA about hanging up his cleats.
Tom Brady is enjoying retirement

Now that Tom Brady has officially retired, there is bound to be a grand retirement party and one is just coming up. The 45-year-old announced his unofficial retirement party that is sponsored and hosted by his NFT brand Autograph. Brady co-founded the NFT start-up during the COVID-19 pandemic when NFTs were blowing up the market. Autograph’s modus operandi is to bring ‘the most iconic brands and legendary names in sports, entertainment, and culture to create unique digital collections and experiences’.
Brady also invited his longtime friend and teammate Rob Gronkowski to his party who is also a partner in the NFL start-up. Tom tweeted, “Hey @Autograph family, we’re one month away from my unofficial retirement party in Tampa on March 16th. Can’t wait to celebrate with everyone from The Huddle. You down @RobGronkowski? Going over the list now and think I can get you in.”
This unofficial party is going to be a star-studded affair with sports personalities from all over the world will be present. Since it is an invite-only party, fans won’t be able to sneak in and watch the festivities. At least they can see glimpses when Brady shares the photos on his social media accounts and short videos of the event. Brady is enjoying his retirement and is promoting his brand TB12.
He also went to the premier of his movie ’80 for Brady’ and recently announced that his production studio 199 Productions is going to make a biopic series about legendary NFL coach John Madden. At home, Brady is loving spending time with his kids and enjoying their company.
