“He’ll FRIGHTEN you”: Leonard Fournette is TERRIFIED of Tom Brady

Leonard Fournette has turned into one of the key pieces for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers offense, the running back steals the show and has always come up clutch in key playoff and Super Bowl games earning him the moniker ‘Playoff Lenny.’ It comes as no surprise that Tom Brady considers him an asset and has become one of his closest friends. The veteran quarterback was the key reason that helped Fournette sign an extension with the Buccaneers.
Tom Brady reportedly had called Leonard Fournette and was not happy with the running back when he heard that Fournette was in talks with the New England Patriots, Tom’s former team. Fournette told Tom he is considering his options because he’s got a family to provide for and Brady hung up on him after telling him to hold on for a while. Just moments later, Leonard Fournette was given an extension by the team which was ideal for him and he decided to stay in Tampa.

Fournette has shared this story of Tom Brady and this did not surprise us all because we know Tom has his say when it comes to the offense of the team. But Brady on a personal level is someone we wish we knew more about. We saw Brady chilling after the Super Bowl win in the parade and he clearly emptied a bottle or two seeing he could barely walk. His teammate Leonard Fournette shares how Tom Brady is on a personal level.
Fournette was on a recent podcast where he shared how the quarterback is, “I love Tom, y’all (the fans) love him outside the football field when you play against him but he’s BADASS,” Fournette confirmed what we all suspected, Brady is a badass and knows when to get serious and intimidating and when to have fun.
Speaking on Tom Brady’s work ethic, Fournette had this to say, “He works his ass off, from a physical standpoint, he may not be the biggest but from a mental aspect, he will FRIGHTEN you,” Tom sounds more and more like Michael Jordan now. It is remarkable that Tom is still playing with the same hunger and has the same mentality that he did as a rookie even at 45 years of age. It is yet to be seen if the quarterback can take the Bucs to yet another Super Bowl in what may be his final year in the NFL.
