Rules may change in the upcoming days after Buffalo Bills Von Miller critically called out Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Leonard Fournette’s play on Sunday night. Though many have praised him for his shot, the Bills veteran was clearly not pleased with it.

The highlight of the game came around the corner when Leonard delivered a huge hit on Dallas Cowboys pass-rusher Micah Parsons. Though the shot gave a lead to Tom Brady to have enough time to throw another long shot to Julio Jones, not everybody welcomes the game.

The play that Leonard pulled could have led to an unwanted accident. Miller being a huge critic of these kinds of circumstances voiced his opinion on his Twitter page, “This block must be taken out the game!” 

This is the future and we are just letting the offense tee off on our marquee pass rushers! You can get the job done without this much contact!, he further stated. The stunt was incredibly risk-oriented as Micah was already engaged dealing with the Buccaneers tackler Josh Wells. 

In NFL many rules have been created time and again where they had their most focus on the offense. Their safety has many measures, but if we’re talking about the defensive side, they are exposed to hits and injuries. 

Miller strongly pointed out this point stating that the defense should also have the safety of rules when they are dealing with another blocker. Nobody wants an unnecessary injury. Maybe the league will focus on this area of the sport next time, and we’ll see some rule changes.
