“Democrats have great policies,” LeRoy Butler compares Aaron Rodgers’ criticism of teammates to the US political party’s ideology

“Democrats have great policies,” LeRoy Butler compares Aaron Rodgers’ criticism of teammates to the US political party’s ideology

The Green Bay Packers have not been in the best of form and recently lost to the Washington Commanders on Sunday 23-21. Additionally, they also fell to the New York Jets 27-10 the previous week.

However, what has come under the public eye is Aaron Rodgers‘ public criticism of his teammates. Rodgers recently went to an episode of the Pat McAfee Show and pointed out their flaws. Rodgers tried to quickly make amends and said on Wednesday – “I’m not saying anything out to Pat that I’m not saying to those guys.”

Greg Jennings, Leroy Butler, and Colin Cowherd were disappointed with Aaron Rodgers’ public outrage

Aaron Rodgers could not hold his frustration back after the loss to the Commanders.

Former Green Bay Packers and teammate of Aaron Rodgers, Greg Jennings, was straight to his point and said the veteran quarterback cannot display such an attitude. Jennings said that it was wrong if Rodgers to talk about such things outside of the locker room.

Aaron, you can’t do this,” Jennings said. “You can’t sit in a forum like the Pat McAfee Show, and I love Pat. Pat’s doing an unbelievable job, but you can’t just vent about everything that’s wrong; in the locker room, on the field, and not talk about your lack of production.”

Not just Greg Jennings, but even popular NFL show host Colin Cowherd also spoke against Aaron Rodgers. He said that it’s understandable that Aaron Rodgers is upset with the performance of his teammates, but he can’t disclose it publically.

Sometimes you can be right about something, but I don’t love how you deliver it,” Cowherd said. “As a dad, sometimes I’m upset with my kids, and my delivery mechanism is lousy. And I’ve learned that as a dad. I don’t mind what Aaron said; I wish he didn’t go public with it. Is that fair?”

Leroy Butler even went as far as comparing Rodgers’ actions to that with the political ideology of the Democrats. He said like Rodgers; the Democrats have great thinking but their messaging is poor.

“I think it’s very fair,” Butler said. “And to your point, just like Democrats have great policies, their messaging is terrible. Republicans, they just get in line and tell you what to do. Even if it’s illegal, ‘I’ll do it,’ but they stick together.”
